• Each member commits to donate $100 per meeting, four times a year
  • Any member who has signed a commitment pledge and who is current with her donations can nominate an organization or a cause for consideration through our Nominate Form
  • Three submissions will be picked at random and representatives will give a 5 minute presentation about where the money will go and how it will be used with a Q&A to follow
  • Each member who is in good standing will vote for one of the causes represented
  • Each member will write a $100 cheque toward the cause that was voted on at the end of the meeting
  • Members agree to make their donation to the chosen cause regardless of whether they voted for it
  • Members who are not able to attend the meeting can send a cheque with a trusted friend but will not be eligible to vote
  • Any cause not selected may reapply at a future meeting
  • Recipients will not be eligible for consideration for three years
  • Ties will be decided by a membership vote to either 1) randomly draw between the two or 2) divide the donation between the tied votes
  • Each meeting will open and close in prayer with a time of sharing how previous donations were used
  • When donations are made to charitable organizations, tax receipts will be issued to each member by that organization. However, we as women of faith believe that giving does not necessarily need to be compensated with a tax receipt when a need is presented. Women of the Way desires to give as the Lord leads and therefore, are open to nominations that can be truly benefited by our donations even though a tax receipt can not be provided.
